As a cryptographer, mathematician Alan Turing (1912-1954) helped Britain break the German Enigma machines in World War II. He invented the turing machine, a concept of a computer that could do the work of any information-processing machine.The shy Turing is said to have had a terrible handwriting, his clothes and hands were always covered with ink stains and he wore his clothes in complete disorder. However, he is considered one of greatest scientists of the 20th century.

The Chiron free piston engine is developed as a power source for all kinds of mobile machinery like for example lift trucks, excavators etceteras. The advantages of the Chiron are put to an optimal effect when applied in a Common Pressure Rail (CPR). This CPR is a new approach in the design of hydraulic networks. In these systems all hydraulic loads can be connected to a single pressure rail. Hydraulic transformers (IHT) enable the control of the loads almost without energy loss. In these systems, the power source only has to maintain a certain (semi-) constant pressure in the power line. Due to its high dynamic control possibilities, the Chiron is the ideal low-cost energy source for CPR systems. |
