Who did not in his childhood play with the colorful lego bricks, developed by father and son Ole Kirk and Godtfred Kirk Christiansen? For sure the latter did not play much, because at the age of 12 he started working in the business of his father. The first lego bricks were made of wood. In 1947 the LEGO company is the first in Denmark to make toys using a plastic injection-molding machine.
