Walking barefoot in the morning dew, baths, wet compresses or cold affusions, are all part of "Kneippism", a system of body care invented by father Sebastian Kneipp (1821-1897), a German priest. The health regimen includes natural foods and regular bathing in herbs, which Father Kneipp believed gave the body access to vital plant nutriënt. Today, Kneipp therapy is recognised by main-stream scientific medicine in Germany.

Flexible Seat Valve | |||||||||||||||||||
![]() |
In the Flexible Seat Valve, the seat is not a passive, rigid component but an active flexible control element. The seat can be made slightly concave or convex. This changes the average pressure in the gap and the opening force on the poppet. The result is a direct and dynamic control of the valve opening.
