CPR advantages

Compared with current hydraulic systems CPR systems offer several advantages. A hydraulic transformer equals the costs of a state-of-the-art load-sensing valve section, but system costs can become lower as the number of installed pumps can decrease and due to peak shaving and power management the installed engine power can be lower. Costs of operation also become lower due to lower fuel consumption. Hydraulic systems can become more flexible as it is easy to add a function to the rail. A modular approach becomes within reach: functions do not influence each other so adding a function to a machine does not require tuning the total system. System tuning and trouble shooting also become easier. The CPR gives a better basis to automation of functions using closed loop control as each function can be individually fine tuned and programmed.
The controllability of functions can increase as the transformer is highly dynamic and allows a very stiff control of functions.
